First Impressions Of WWE LFG Season 2? | Question Of The Day

The second season of WWE LFG has premiered with its first episode, introducing Michelle McCool as a replacement coach for Mickie James and introducing some new names, while bringing back some others in the competition pool.

What do you think of this group? Who do you think will win? Which coach will come out with the title belt? Is this season shaping up to look better or worse than the first one?

My question for you today is “What were your first impressions of season 2 of WWE LFG?”

As far as my answer…

I think it’s weird to carry over people from the last season and have them continue to “win an NXT contract”—particularly since we’ve already seen some of them renamed and put on EVOLVE like Troy Yearwood becoming Jamar Hampton and Leigh Laurel as Jin Tala.

Theoretically, if we’re supposed to buy this as a reality show, why were those two given contracts when runner-ups higher in the competition like Zena Sterling and Shiloh Hill were passed over and have to do this again?

On top of that, why do the whole “let’s see what you’ve got” when you’ve seen nearly all of these talents for the whole first season? You mean to tell me they don’t know what BJ Ray has going on, or Anthony Luke or anyone?

I did like the bit with The Undertaker telling Shiloh Hill to not do as well so that the others wouldn’t pick up and he could be a sleeper pick for The Phenom. That was funny. It’d be even funnier if I thought it were real.

As far as Summer Sorrell, Trill London, Haze Jameson, and Harlem Lewis are concerned, they’re being showcased on EVOLVE, so I’ve seen them past this point, which is also odd. I just assume Lewis wins for the men this season and the women’s winner is maybe Penina Tuilaepa.
