The latest episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast featured former WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax. During the chat, Jax expressed frustration over her recent creative booking. The Irresistible Force said,
“I’m kind of getting sick and tired of always being the reliable big girl. Why don’t you make me that girl? I’ve been working my a** off for over a decade. I’ve changed my character. You know, I’ve changed my body. I changed the way I move in the ring. You know, I can get on the mic and cut you a promo. Why can’t it be me?”
“So, I’m sick and tired of being disrespected, and I keep getting disrespected. You know, every time I turn around, I freaking have somebody trying to screw me over, and then I just get looked over, and it’s like, ‘Oh, hey, let me just put her in, and she’ll help out somebody else.’ Yeah, I have no problem, but why can’t I be the girl?”
Jax Claims Lash Legend Will Be A WWE Women’s Champion For A Long Time
Speaking on the “RAW Recap” podcast, Jax heavily praised Lash Legend. The former WWE Women’s Champion said,
“I had no doubt when she came up that she would just blend right in. She was already ready to get in here and dominate, but Lash, she’s a student of the game. She’s willing to listen, she’s willing to learn. She is very confident in who she is, but she also is always open to suggestions. So it’s really the easiest and smoothest transition for her to come up and work with us. I’m having fun watching her continuously every week get better and better. I hope we never break up, but one day when she has her own singles run, I have no doubt that she’s gonna be a Women’s Champion for a very long time.”
“I’ve had my eye on Lash for a while now. I saw her down in NXT when she was teaming up with Jakara (Jackson). They were a great tag team. I saw the powerhouse that Lash was. And just the energy she has, the look she has, the strength she has, knowing her background coming from such an athletic background, and knowing that the aggressiveness is in her.”
