Ex-AEW/WWE Star Teases Non-Wrestling Collaboration With Sasha Banks

Ex WWE and AEW star Lio Rush has teased working with Sasha Banks following reports of ‘The Boss’ release.

Last week, it was reported that Banks was quietly released a few weeks ago after she and Naomi walked out of the May 16, Raw over creative differences.

Banks reportedly believed that WWE’s plans for the Raw and SmackDown Women’s Championships negated the importance of the WWE Women’s Tag Titles, held by herself and Naomi at the time.

Speaking to Wrestling Inc, Rush said that he is more than happy to work with Banks on an upcoming track if she accepted his offer.

“Sasha can hop on a track for sure,” Rush stated. “The invitation is open.”

When asked if he’s spoken directly to the former Women’s Champion, Rush said:

“I haven’t, but, you know, with her cousin being Snoop Dogg, I’m pretty sure there’s some talent there.”

Neither WWE nor Banks have publicly confirmed reports of her release.

In 2019, Rush released his debut single as a rapper titled, Scenic Lullaby and followed up with his debut album Ever After the following year.
