Since August, Jon Moxley has warned that AEW is “not your company anymore.” The Death Rider has recruited Wheeler Yuta, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, and Marina Shafir to further his takeover ambitions.
Moxley won the AEW World Championship at AEW WrestleDream 2024 and sidelined Bryan Danielson and Chuck Taylor to declare war on AEW.
During a recent appearance on the “Sports Guys Talk Wrestling” podcast, Dustin Rhodes opined that CEO Tony Khan might be upset about Moxley calling AEW his company.
Dustin said, “You have to have eyes in the back of your head at all times. Mox and his group, they’re tough. They’re fighters and that’s what they do and have done for a living. I don’t know what Mox’s deal is, but this isn’t his company. We all work here, and I’ve been here since the beginning. Tony (Khan) knows that and Tony knows it is his company. I would imagine Tony is a little bit upset that he’s calling it ‘his company.’ You always have to have eyes in the back of your head and ready for anything because they can attack anybody at any time, whether you agree with them or not. They are there in numbers. Numbers are what gets people down.”
Dustin holds the title of one-third of the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions with The Von Erichs (Marshall Von Erich & Ross Von Erich) and is also one-half of the ROH Tag Team Champions with Sammy Guevara.
