In a recent Twitter post, Johnny Gargano shared a photo of DIY with the Motor City Machine Guns backstage at an AIW event in August.

The two teams will face each other on next week’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

The Motor City Machine Guns debuted on Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown, defeating A-Town Down Under and Los Garzas in tag team action.

Taking to Twitter, Chris Sabin wrote, “MCMG are WWE Superstars. The journey started in 2006 with many highs and lows along the way.
