Fans breathed a sigh of relief once word came out that Steven Borden was going to be fine after his scary spot at AEW All Out 2026. However, Disco Inferno was not in the mood to celebrate.
Rather than wishing the young star well, Disco Inferno pointed the finger at Borden and blamed the whole fiasco on his lack of ring experience.
Taking to social media once the show was over, Disco Inferno argued that not knowing how to properly judge risk in the ring is exactly what leads to moments like this. He wrote,
“This is what happens when the level of experience and bad risk assessment can cause serious injury.”
Borden’s pay-per-view debut came to an abrupt halt after he collided head-first with Kevin Knight, forcing the referee to stop the match right away and send him to the hospital. AEW President Tony Khan later confirmed that the tests looked good.
