Cody Rhodes may have just teased a potential connection to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“The American Nightmare” took to Instagram on Wednesday, posting a photo of himself inside the Marvel Studios office in Burbank, California. Rhodes offered no explanation for the visit, and it remains unclear whether the picture was taken recently or is from an earlier occasion.
Naturally, the photo has sparked speculation about whether Rhodes could eventually appear in an MCU project. However, there is currently no indication that he has been cast in anything.
Becky Lynch was originally set to appear in a post-credits scene for Eternals, which was released in 2021. Although Lynch filmed the scene, it was ultimately removed from the finished movie.
Seth Rollins also filmed material for Captain America: Brave New World in 2023. Rollins was expected to appear as part of the Serpent Society, but his character was cut before the movie’s theatrical release in 2025.
For now, Rhodes’ Marvel visit remains a mystery, but the photo is certainly enough to get fans wondering whether “The American Nightmare” could be headed for the MCU.
