Chelsea Green became the inaugural WWE Women’s United States Champion after defeating Michin in the finals of the title tournament at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event last December.
During a recent appearance on the “Lightweights” podcast, Chelsea reflected on her landmark victory.

On her run with the US Title: “It doesn’t even feel real now that I lost it. It’s so crazy because the whole match was only like seven minutes long. It was really, really short, but the whole match the crowd was chanting my name. I’m at this point in my career where I can hear everything that’s going on I can look at the faces in the crowd, I can hear what’s going on, the chants, I can read the signs, I can react.”
On the fans wanting to see her win: “It takes a while to get there in wrestling because you’re so nervous; you kind of black out usually while you’re wrestling. So I could see everything and hear everything. I was just like ‘Damn, they really want me to win right now. This is going to be crazy when I do pin her.’ Everyone in the stands jumped up. It was just one of those moments where if nothing good in my career ever happens to me ever again, I’m good.”
During a recent appearance on the “Gabby AF” podcast, TNA wrestler Mike Santana recalled his reaction to Trick Williams winning the TNA World Title from Joe Hendry at the NXT Battleground pay-per-view event in May 2025.

On Trick Williams winning the TNA World Title: “I was sitting backstage in a small room with some of the production guys. When it happened, I was like, I posted a picture of me watching the TV as he’s raising the title, and yeah, I remember just saying, ‘I have to be the guy to bring it back.’ Even at that moment, I was like, I have to be the guy I have to, TNA has been so great to me. I have a lot of history there. I’m thankful that they gave me the opportunity to come back and be on this new journey of mine.”
On feeling upset and that it was time to get to work: “So I felt like, of course, I was upset, right? Trick is who he is, you know what I mean? But yeah, I was just like, yo, I gotta do this for me. I gotta do this for the brand, and that was the mindset right away. I was like, alright, now the work starts.”
