Bully Ray Shares WWE LFG Talent Didn’t Hold Back On CM Punk

This week, WWE LFG will premiere on A&E, showcasing the journey of young wrestlers hoping to earn a contract with the promotion.

Speaking to “The New York Post,” Bully Ray recalled CM Punk meeting the LFG prospects and daring them to show their skills on the mic. He said,

“The day that Punk showed up was a really strong day here in NXT and for the future greats of LFG. What really stood out to me that day was after Punk talked to the future greats, he challenged them. He basically dangled the microphone, dangled the pipe bomb in front of them and said, ‘Alright, who wants to give this a try?”

Bully shared that Zena Sterling and Jasper Troy were quick to accept the challenge but Castor was able to get the microphone first. He said,

“Castor was able to get to the microphone first. And he said things on that microphone that floored everyone. It was so real. It was so emotional.

He went after Punk. To have the guts to go first is one thing. To go after Punk, and that’s why that’s a can’t-miss episode. This future great, who has been around for a cup of coffee and a biscuit went after CM Punk.”

Bully Ray will be joined by Mickie James, Booker T, and The Undertaker as the veterans honing the talents of the prospects on WWE LFG.
