AEW star Bryan Danielson was reportedly forced to withdraw from a meet and greet due to an injury.

Danielson was scheduled to attend the event in New Bedford, Massachusetts but fans were told at the venue that he was unable to fly due to an injury.

The New Bedford venue later confirmed the news to Fightful though neither Danielson nor Tony Khan has publicly commented on the matter.

Details of the injury and a window of recovery time have not been made publicly known.

Danielson is the latest high-profile wrestler to face an injury following CM Punk’s injury announcement on this week’s Rampage.

An interim AEW World Champion will be crowned at AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door, who will face Punk in a title unification match when he is able to wrestle again.

WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes is also dealing with an injury that could see him miss a year of in-ring time.

Danielson’s most recent match was at AEW Double or Nothing, where his team lost to the Jericho Appreciation Society in the Anarchy in the Arena match.
