AEW star Dr Britt Baker, D.M.D has clarified to a fan exactly why she still works her second job as a dentist.
Posting a statement on her Twitter after losing her AEW Women’s World Championship, Baker talked about how despite the gruelling nature of her match with Thunder Rosa she still went to work the next day. Britt Baker’s full statement reads as follows:
“While others relax & recover on their day off, I’m just leaving the dental office for the day – bruised and cut up, on 2 hours of sleep after traveling halfway across the country. I might have lost, but I gave you all the best damn women’s championship reign that none of you undeserving idiots will appreciate until I’m champion again. This will always be my division. To all those I paved the way wave for, you’re welcome. -DMD”
Following this, one fan would reply to Britt Baker’s tweet, questioning why she still worked her day job. The fan wrote, “Are you really saying you have to work a day job still even though you’re featured prominently on national tv?”
Baker would later reply with a definitive statement of, “No. I don’t have to. I chose to because I’m a f*cking rockstar at two careers, not just one. #ROLEMODEL #DMD”
