WWE has been accused of being ‘desperate’ for stars after bringing Brock Lesnar back on SmackDown.

Lesnar returned to confront Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, setting up a Last Man Standing match at SummerSlam 2022.

Given that Lesnar was expected to be gone for a while following his loss to Reigns at WrestleMania, many have said that WWE are desperate to bring him back relatively soon.

Addressing Lesnar’s return on his Hall of Fame Podcast, Booker said:

“I wouldn’t call it desperate,” Booker answered. “I would call it pulling the ace out. That’s what you do.”

Booker added that Lesnar’s return should motivate full-time Superstars who will not be facing the Tribal Chief at SummerSlam.

“Sometimes you gotta put yourself in a position for someone to see you and want to put the rocket on you.”

WWE SummerSlam 2022 will take place on July 30th at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee.
