During a recent appearance on the “Going Ringside” podcast, Billy Gunn opened up about working for AEW President Tony Khan.
Gunn called Khan a great boss and a great guy who gives full effort to the company. He said,
“He’s amazing. I mean, he’s such a- along with being a good boss, he’s a good guy. So, you know, you love working for that. You love putting out 100% for him because he gives 100% back. So, yeah.”
Gunn mostly works ROH tapings now, and he last wrestled on AEW TV in January alongside his son Austin Gunn.
During a recent Highspots signing, Maya World opened up about wrestling her idol Mercedes Mone in the Owen Hart Cup finals at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026 last month. She said,
“Mercedes is like my idol, and honestly, I’ll probably chase that feeling of being in the ring with her for the rest of my career. It was an amazing time.”
Mone won that match and earned a title shot at AEW All In London in August, while Maya World later picked up a pinfall over Julia Hart during a Casino Gauntlet on AEW Dynamite: Beach Break, though Willow Nightingale won the whole thing.
AEW toy partner Jazwares has announced its San Diego Comic-Con 2026 exclusive, which is a limited-edition Will Ospreay action figure based on his AEW Full Gear 2024 attire.
The premium figure features a new redeco and soft-goods accessories for collectors. It will be sold at Jazwares’ SDCC booth for $60.
The new release comes amid AEW President Tony Khan hinting at possible changes to the company’s toy license earlier this year.
