Bayley was not a part of WrestleMania 41, with a kayfabe attack by Becky Lynch being used to write the Role Model off of WWE’s biggest show.

On a recent edition of the “RAW Recap” podcast, Bayley spoke about missing WWE’s flagship show and what that meant to her. She said,

“I don’t work just for the big spotlights, but it obviously is one of the biggest nights of the year. We only get so many of those in our career. And I’ve been lucky enough to have a lot of WrestleManias under my belt, doing a little bit of everything. All kinds of different matches and hosting WrestleMania. But this one I was really excited for to be back in the tag division after having a pretty good run and that gauntlet match with Lyra is something that I was really looking forward to.”

Bayley was set to team with Lyra Valkyria at WrestleMania 41 but Lynch would replace her in the match and the pair would win the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

It was later reported that despite WWE promoting Bayley for the match, they never had any intention of her competing at WrestleMania 41.

Bayley returned to RAW earlier this month and will challenge Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship next week.
