We have some backstage rumors about how the card is shaping up for the 2023 Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.
According to a report from WrestlingNews.co, Edge is expected to renew his rivalry with Finn Balor at next month’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. The rumor is that they will face each other in a gimmick match which is believed to be a Hell in a Cell match. Edge has not appeared on WWE television since losing to Balor in an “I Quit” match at Extreme Rules in October.
There are also rumors that Bray Wyatt will be involved in a gimmick match of his own: the “Pitch Black” match. The rumored lineup for the show is below:

* WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Raquel Rodriguez
* Men’s Royal Rumble Match
* Women’s Royal Rumble Match

* Edge vs. Finn Balor
WWE has not yet announced the matchups for next month’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. The 2023 Royal Rumble will air live on January 28th on Peacock in the United States, and on the WWE Network elsewhere.
