As seen on Monday’s episode of RAW, WWE Hall of Famer Edge was kicked out of the Judgment Day faction. The segment featured Finn Balor joining Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley to take out the “Rated R Superstar.” Internally, Edge is now being listed as a babyface. The company posted a storyline injury update on Tuesday, noting that he was out with a “non-displaced orbital floor fracture.”
According to a report from the Wrestling Observer, the reason that Edge was removed from the group was due to creative differences. The decision was said to have been a last-minute one. Edge was reportedly told that WWE wanted to take the group in a “supernatural direction” and he wasn’t happy about it.
