As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, AEW wrestler Darby Allin reached the summit of Mount Everest earlier this week, proudly planting the AEW flag at the peak. However, according to a report from Fightful Select, AEW is not expecting Allin to return in time for this weekend’s Double or Nothing pay-per-view event.
Descending Mount Everest safely can take anywhere from three to seven days, depending on weather conditions and the health of the climbers. Given the demanding nature of the expedition and the recovery time needed afterward, it appears unlikely that Allin will be able to complete his descent, recuperate, and travel to Glendale in time for the show.
