According to a report from Fightful, Impact Wrestling has big plans in place for Steve Maclin.

As seen at Saturday night’s Rebellion pay-per-view event, Maclin defeated Jay White and Chris Sabin in a Triple Threat Match.

Maclin is now set to receive a “significant” push this summer. Additionally, officials within the company have been very impressed with his work as of late.

Steve Maclin vs. Tomohiro Ishii will be taking place at today’s Impact Wrestling TV tapings.

Despite losing the AAA Reina de Reinas Title to Taya Valkyrie at Saturday night’s Rebellion pay-per-view event, Deonna Purrazzo is still tentatively set for appearances in Mexico.

JONAH (Bronson Reed in WWE) is working a per-appearance deal for Impact Wrestling. At this time, New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) is his top priority.
