As we previously reported here on eWn, AEW released ten wrestlers on Monday including Parker Boudreaux, Anthony Henry, Stu Grayson, Dasha Kuret, and The Boys.

A new report details the cause of the AEW’s latest talent releases.

According to sources, the firings weren’t a result of financial cutbacks. Instead, the talent releases were a reorganization of how AEW plans to use its roster and the company did not want to restrict talent from pursuing other opportunities.

Additionally, the door is open for any of the released talent to be possibly used on AEW TV in the future.

Moreover, The Boys (Tate Twins) are now free agents. The duo had about 16 months left on their current AEW contracts. The belief is that everyone being released is a free agent going forward.
