Andrade El Idolo feels extremely confident heading into tonight’s AEW National Championship match against Mark Davis at AEW Redemption in Montreal.
Andrade earned this title shot after beating Jake Doyle on the July 15 episode of Dynamite, and he recently turned on The Don Callis Family at Forbidden Door.
Taking to social media, Andrade wrote, “Today is my day.”
During a recent interview with Soundsphere Magazine, Will Ospreay opened up about his ADHD diagnosis, saying it has been both a blessing and a curse for his wrestling career.
Ospreay was diagnosed in 2019 along with being on the autism spectrum, and he explained that understanding this helped him make sense of his hyperactivity and emotional struggles.
Ospreay noted that being authentic in the ring, even with his quirky humor, is what connects him most with fans. He said,
“The UK fans understand my personality, they understand I’m a very cheeky person… I mean, my humour sometimes translates wrong even to the people in my country. But the best way that I can show authenticity is by being me.”
“It gave me clarity and an understanding of what I was going through, why I was so hyperactive and not in control of my emotions whatsoever. I’d have some really good days where I would lock in to the job, and then there’d be days where I would just shoot myself in the foot – publicly as well…I’ve used this to really help my wrestling. But it’s a blessing and a curse.”
