Last week, Pro Wrestling NOAH hinted at a joint announcement with WWE that would take place today at the Grand Ship event at YOKOHAMA BUNTAI.
During the event, AJ Styles made a video appearance and revealed that he would participate in NOAH’s Budokan event on July 13, where he would face Naomichi Marufuji.
At the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event on Saturday, Styles faced Cody Rhodes in an I Quit Match for the Undisputed WWE Title and was defeated in the opening match.
