Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!

Tonight is another four-hour special edition of Dynamite & Collision dubbed AEW Summer Blockbuster. Before that goes down, though, let’s toss out some predictions, as you never know what might happen.

My question for you today is “What are your predictions for AEW Summer Blockbuster?”

Remember to answer with your response in the comments below.

As far as my answer…

To be perfectly honest, I don’t think this is going to be as eventful as it could be. For instance, Toni Storm will just beat Julia Hart and have a silly stare-off with Mercedes Mone, or at best, they’ll have Mercedes cost Storm a match that means ultimately nothing. Standard affair. Kyle Fletcher just beats Anthony Bowens, Thekla beats Queen Aminata, and so on.

Swerve Strickland beat Will Ospreay the first time, at Forbidden Door 2024, so let’s go with Ospreay winning this time around.

The Hurt Syndicate win their trios match, unless Mistico interferes and screws things up for MJF to set up a match for Grand Slam Mexico.

Obviously, this isn’t enough for 4 hours, so I fully expect more matches to be announced primarily for the Collision side of things.

Most importantly, I want to put it out there that I still think there will be an announcement that the Winner Takes All match between Kazuchika Okada and Kenny Omega will end up being a unified title, and not just the winner holding two belts. It might even be announced here as part of the contract signing that this will become the Intercontinental Championship, but if that ends up being true, it could still end up just being at All In itself.

What do you think? Drop your thoughts below!
