Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!

Another pay-per-view is in the bag with AEW Revolution 2025 taking place last night, and you know what that means! It’s time for another breakdown of highlights and low points.

My question for you today is the standard affair: “What were your favorite and least favorite parts from AEW Revolution 2025?”

Remember to answer with your response in the comments below.

As far as my answer…

Overall, I thought this was a damn good pay-per-view almost from top to bottom. Nearly every match delivered, there were some surprises along the way, some important things happened, and I shut it off feeling satisfied as a fan.

Before getting into my favorite part of the night, I’ll toss out my negatives, of which there are few.

This isn’t a big thing to chastise, but I didn’t quite see the point in the opening tag team match on the Zero Hour, and I wish this feud between Daniel Garcia and The Undisputed Kingdom was handled better in general. I also think The Outrunners, Brody King, and Momo Watanabe weren’t ever really in contention to win their respective title matches, so that did make me go into those segments just pre-writing the result and waiting for it to happen.

As far as major positives go, the Gravity angle was a solid way to keep the Bandido story going, and I liked Kenny Omega winning the International Championship, but my main pick has to be a tie between the Hollywood Ending title match and the steel cage match between Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher.

Those were above and beyond my favorite matches on the card, and I don’t know if I can pick the steel cage match for overall being better, or if I have to give extra credit to Toni Storm and Mariah May simply because I’ve been so down on that feud, and they still managed to draw me into this match despite months of me rolling my eyes and tuning them out.

All in all, this was a really good show. I’d be surprised if AEW pulls out another event this year that equals or surpasses it, but I certainly hope they do, of course.
