AEW Renames Interview Set In Tribute To Deceased Lead Video Engineer

AEW has reportedly renamed their interview set in tribute to Brian Muster, who passed away earlier this month.

Muster, who had been with AEW from the start, had worked as the company’s lead video engineer, and a GoFundMe has been set up to help his family.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that AEW has named their interview set ‘the Mongo position,’ a nod to Muster’s nickname.

“They named this position backstage ‘The Mongo Position,’ which is actually after Brian Muster, who just passed away last week. So, forever the interview position will be called the Mongo Position.”

After last week’s Rampage, Tony Khan spoke to the crowd about Muster and led the audience in a chant for the video engineer.
