This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw a decrease in both the 18-49 demo rating and total viewership compared to the previous week.

The February 12th episode drew 579,000 viewers on TBS, a 0.16 rating (215,000 viewers) in the 18-49 demo and a 0.08 in the 18-34 demo.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has shared a detailed analysis of the numbers, including a breakdown of each quarter-hour.

This decline comes despite a higher lead-in than usual, as The Big Bang Theory drew 1,006,000 viewers and a 0.16 rating. This marked the second time a rerun of the sitcom matched AEW’s ratings in the 18-49 demographic.

AEW Dynamite ranked #13 for the day and #4 in its timeslot. The show fell behind the NBA game between Boston and San Antonio on ESPN (1,211,000 viewers/0.34), Team Canada versus Team Sweden in hockey (880,000 viewers/0.30 on TNT and 169,000 viewers/0.07 on TruTV), as well as Jesse Watters (4,412,000 viewers/0.23) and Hannity (3,438,000 viewers/0.21) on Fox News.

Compared to last week, AEW Dynamite saw a 4.3% decline in total viewership, a 6.9% decrease in the 18-49 demo, and a 29.9% decrease in the 18-34 demo.

Compared to last year, AEW Dynamite was down 28.6% in total viewership, 45.3% in the 18-49 demo, and 70.3% in the 18-34 demo.

The viewer statistics comprised 28,000 males aged 18-34 (a 39.1% decrease), 26,000 females aged 18-34 (a 16.1% decrease), 116,000 males aged 35-49 (a 3.3% decline), and 45,000 females aged 35-49 (an increase of 32.4%).

Q2: End of Death Riders vs. Undisputed Kingdom – 648,000 viewers (down 28,000), 254,000 in 18-49 (down 8,000)

Q3: Page & MJF segment/Samoa Joe, HOOK & Katsuyori Shibata squash/Chris Jericho & Bryan Keith promo/Willow Nightingale & Jon Moxley segment – 615,000 viewers (down 33,000), 227,000 in 18-49 (down 27,000)

Q4: Jericho, Bandido, Learning Tree & Powerhouse Hobbs segment/Cope and Jay White promo/Dustin Rhodes vs. MJF – 544,000 viewers (down 71,000), 209,000 in 18-49 (down 18,000)

Q5: End of MJF vs. Rhodes, MJF and Page brawl – 596,000 viewers (up 52,000), 211,000 in 18-49 (up 2,000)

Q6: End of MJF/Page brawl/Megan Bayne squash/Kris Statlander vs. Penelope Ford – 560,000 viewers (down 36,000), 203,000 in 18-49 (down 8,000)

Q7: End of Statlander vs. Ford/Harley Cameron rap/Hurt Syndicate vs. The Gunns – 533,000 viewers (down 27,000), 182,000 in 18-49 (down 21,000)

Q8: End of Hurt Syndicate vs. Gunns – 492,000 viewers (down 41,000), 182,000 in 18-49 (even)

Overrun: Cope, White & Death Riders segment – 478,000 viewers (down 14,000), 188,000 in 18-49 (up 6,000)
