WWE will be missing one of its key performers for several months.

As WWE gears up for Survivor Series this Saturday, the company is also preparing to crown the inaugural WWE Women’s US Champion at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Jade Cargill’s absence has affected both occasions.

Cargill was expected to participate in the Women’s WarGames match and the tournament. Last Friday on SmackDown, WWE staged a scene where Cargill was found unconscious on a car.

WWE refrained from revealing the identity of her attacker, allowing the mystery storyline to unfold.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that Cargill’s removal from storylines was to account for a legitimate injury. However, the exact extent of the injury remains unclear.

What is known is that Cargill will be sidelined for at least three months, possibly longer.

It is still being determined how WWE will handle the Women’s Tag Team Titles she and Bianca Belair currently hold.
