As we reported earlier this week here on eWn, WWE announced that Rhea Ripley suffered a broken orbital bone and will be out of action indefinitely. She was written out of storylines after being attacked by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez in the parking lot of WWE NXT on Tuesday night.
According to a report from Pwinsider, the injury took place on the October 21st edition of WWE RAW after a headbutt spot when Ripley confronted Rodriguez and Morgan. Ripley wasn’t featured on the October 28th episode of RAW. It is said that the NXT angle was filmed late and it was done in Orlando so Ripely wouldn’t have to fly out.
Ripley will not be working Sunday’s WWE RAW TV tapings in Saudi Arabia.
As of this writing, there’s no word on when “Mami” will be making her return to WWE television.
