A recent report provides an update on the status of AEW’s prospective new weekly show, Shockwave.

As we previously reported here on eWn, AEW has been considering a potential new program and exploring various broadcast partners since its new television rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery is not exclusive.

There were rumors that the show might be hosted on FOX, but Fightful Select is reporting that no deal has been finalized, and a network for AEW Shockwave remains unconfirmed.

FOX has shown interest in wrestling content that isn’t affiliated with WWE. SmackDown used to air on FOX but moved to the USA Network last month.

The AEW schedule for 2025 currently includes Dynamite, Collision, and ROH TV.

AEW Rampage and Battle of the Belts are not expected to continue, while discussions about Shockwave are still ongoing.
