Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!
It’s the day of a pay-per-view—AEW All In 2024—so you know the score. That means it’s time for a last call round of predictions for all the matches currently announced for this show’s lineup.
My question for you today is “Who do you think will win all the matches at AEW All In 2024?”
Remember to answer with your response in the comments below.
As far as my answers…
Zero Hour — Mixed Tag Team Match: Kris Statlander & Stokely Hathaway vs. Willow Nightingale & Tomohiro Ishii
- Since the winners get to pick the stipulation for the upcoming Willow/Stat match, that changes this from a no-stakes do-nothing match to something where the winner actually does need to be determined in advance. I don’t follow CMLL, so I don’t know if Statlander potentially winning that title is a future possibility, but I’d just assume Willow will retain. In order for that to not seem like a done deal, the heels kind of have to win this and set up a stipulation that will give them an advantage, right? But the Zero Hour is a good time to have the heroes be victorious to set a happy mood for the pay-per-view. I’m overthinking this. There will be other matches on the pre-show where that can happen. Somehow, Statlander pins Nightingale here to look like a bigger threat and loses at All Out.
Four-Way London Ladder Match for the AEW World Trios Championship: The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Killswitch, and Nick Wayne) (c) (with Mother Wayne) vs. Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn) vs. House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, and Buddy Matthews) vs. PAC & Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta)
- I’m glad PAC is in this match, but I can’t see him officially joining Blackpool Combat Club and holding these titles. Honestly, though, I’d actually be all aboard for that. If I were picking things, that’d probably what I’d go with. But I’ll stick with The Patriarchy holding the titles by the end of this. I don’t see the point in taking the belts off The Bang Bang Gang just to give them back, and The House of Black held them recently enough, too. I can more so picture The Patriarchy losing to The Conglomeration down the line.
Casino Gauntlet Match
- Surely “Hangman” Adam Page has this, right? It’s for a title shot, after all. Maybe there’s a trick up Tony Khan’s sleeve about someone making a debut like a Ricochet or Bobby Lashley and they’ll take priority, though. Then again, I’ve been working under an assumption of Page versus Swerve Strickland for All Out, and I’m not as sold on Bryan Danielson losing as I was before with the career on the line stipulation, so maybe I’m wrong. It’s still odd that Darby Allin has a world title shot coming up in advance on top of this, too. Yikes. This is another really tough one to call. Jon Moxley isn’t on the card, either, so maybe he wins?
Last Chance Singles Match for the FTW Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Hook
- Hook absolutely has to win this. This title is his lineage. It can’t stay on Jericho forever, and unless the plan is to subvert expectations, keep it on him longer, and have him drop it to someone else who then drops it to Hook, I’d imagine this is the end of this tale.
Three-Way Tag Team Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship: The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson) (c) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood) vs. The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster)
- The Young Bucks retain. I don’t think we’re seeing The Elite drop their titles any time soon. This feels like they wanted to drag out the story with The Acclaimed, then felt like that wasn’t big enough, threw FTR in there to try to upgrade it, and said “Just have a match.”
Singles Match for the AEW Women’s World Championship: “Timeless” Toni Storm (c) vs. Mariah May
- There’s a part of me that thinks Mariah May could walk out of this event as champion, but an even bigger part of me that thinks “when all else fails, stick with Storm”, as AEW has proven to just be obsessed with this gimmick. I’ve long been over it, but I do think Storm as champion going forward makes more sense than May. May just doesn’t strike me as the top of the division above all others right now. Then again, with Mercedes Mone holding the TBS Championship, maybe they don’t care as much and are willing to have the Women’s World Championship take a back seat. I’ll stick with Storm for my prediction, though.
Singles Match for the AEW American Championship: MJF (c) vs. Will Ospreay
- Will Ospreay wins the belt, gets a hero’s response, and reverts it back to the AEW International Championship in preparation to face PAC at All Out.
Coffin Match for the AEW TNT Championship: Jack Perry (c) vs. Darby Allin
- As previously mentioned, I don’t think The Elite are dropping their titles for a little while. Jack Perry just won this. Allin has his world title opportunity, too, and it would be odd (at least, in my opinion) for him to walk into that holding a midcard title at the same time. By hook or by crook—more so by crook, because The Elite are heels and someone like Kazuchika Okada can interfere, not because of HOOK getting involved, of course—Allin will lose this.
Singles Match for the AEW TBS Championship: Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.
- I absolutely cannot imagine Baker leaving with the title. Not only is Moné the shiny new toy and the bigger name, but Baker just got suspended. That would send such a terrible message if she were rewarded for that. But even before that had happened, I would have still bet the house on Moné retaining. Baker is just a big name challenger to make Mercedes look good.
Title vs. Career Singles Match for the AEW World Championship: Swerve Strickland (c) vs. Bryan Danielson
- I’m far more on the fence about this than I had originally been. At first, I didn’t even think Danielson was going to earn this title shot, as I thought Page would win the Owen Hart Cup. Then, with the addition of Danielson’s career being on the line, that changed my perception, too, as I just assumed Bryan would put up a good fight, lose, shake hands with Swerve and do something else at All Out. At this particular moment, I’m actually leaning toward Danielson winning, but it does seem weird that they bothered to put his career on the line and that his contract expired. Maybe he does have plans to step away and his injuries are bad enough that he’s in rough shape and has to end things now, rather than what I had anticipated, which was AEW Dynasty.
