The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) recently appeared on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast to discuss Wes Lee’s success in WWE so far.
Miquel and Wentz, who have been appearing on WWE NXT in recent weeks, praised Lee for how well he’s done.

Miguel on Wes Lee’s success in NXT: “From the outside looking in, you want to see your brother do the absolute best [that] he possibly can, and I’m so proud of everything Wes has done. I do believe he’s the best North American Champion that NXT has ever seen. And then going through the back injury and the rehab, he has done so much to get back where he is.”
Wentz on Lee’s NXT run: “He ended up being a pillar of NXT. When you heard about NXT, you knew about the core guys, and Wes Lee was one of those core guys. He really did kind of put the company on his back for awhile, and a lot of his matches were must-see TV. And just look at the reign that he’s had. He’s the longest North American Champion ever, and I’m so proud of him.”
Gabe Kidd says the NJPW G1 Climax is the best professional wrestling tournament in the world.
During a press conference to promote the G1 Climax 34 tournament, Kidd commented on the importance of the tournament. He said,
“A Block, G1, let’s talk about it. Let’s talk about this trophy right here. This is the champion’s league of professional wrestling. F**k the King of the Ring, f**k the Continental Classic.”
He continued, “This is the number one tournament in professional wrestling, and what do we have here? The best wrestlers in the world. Where the best wrestle.”
DEFY Wrestling will be teaming up with TJPW and DDT for three shows in November.
