In a vignette that aired on last week’s episode of AEW Collision, it was teased that a new masked character would be debuting shortly. The character will reportedly be portrayed by the former Aramis, and he will be playing the role of a babyface.

According to a report from Pwinsider, Aramis’ AEW deal was negotiated by Masked Republic’s Lucha Libre Agency. The deal was reportedly signed back in February. Up until the vignette aired this past Saturday night, Aramis had been performing in Mexico.

Finally, it was added that AEW President Tony Khan personally devised the character and is said to have been very excited about putting it together.
