Giulia’s anticipated arrival at the WWE Performance Center and debut at NXT: Heatwave 2024 on July 7 was postponed after she suffered a wrist injury last month.
Giulia underwent surgery and was discharged from the hospital a few days later. The Japanese wrestler has been healing well and is on the road to recovery.
Tokyo Sports is reporting that Giulia has been cleared to participate in the upcoming Marigold Summer Destiny event at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan.
The event is scheduled for July 13 and will feature a double main event comprising Giulia vs. Sareee and IYO SKY vs. Utami Hayashishita.
Additionally, Marigold founder Rossy Ogawa recently stated in an interview that doctors have cleared Giulia for in-ring action. He said,
“We have received the official OK from the doctor, so the bout with Saree will go ahead as scheduled…Everything is now set, so now all that’s left is for the day to come.”
As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, Giulia is expected to be featured at the next NXT pay-per-view event. She could potentially make her WWE debut at NXT: No Mercy 2024.
