Roman Reigns and The Rock are once again “friends” following the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press conference.
During Thursday night’s press conference at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the originally planned Rock vs. Reigns match didn’t come to fruition after Rhodes chose Reigns as his WrestleMania 40 opponent. This led to the Great One slapping the American Nightmare, turning the former into a full-fledged heel in the process.
Following the press conference, WWE took to Instagram to post a video of The Rock, Roman Reigns, and Paul Heyman walking out of the T-Mobile Arena. They weren’t at all pleased, with The Rock saying,
“Did you see I slapped that guy right in the face?”
While Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns will be headlining WrestleMania 40, it appears The Rock & Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins will be taking place on Night One of WrestleMania 40. As of this writing, that is not confirmed.
