Steve Maclin’s first title defense as Impact World Champion will be against wrestling veteran PCO, it has been announced.

Maclin won the title at the recent Rebellion event, defeating KUSHIDA to win the gold which had been vacated by Josh Alexander.

During this week’s Impact on AXS TV, Maclin got into a heated exchange with Impact President Scott D’Amore, who announced PCO as Maclin’s next opponent.

PCO came out, hit a DDT, and put some security guards through a table before staring down with Maclin.

PCO also emerged victorious at Impact’s Rebellion event as he defeated Eddie Edwards in a Last Rites match on the show.
