After returning to the NXT brand just last month, Johnny Gargano hasn’t been featured on WWE television as of late.

According to a report from Fightful Select, the reason Gargano hasn’t been seen is because he re-aggravated a shoulder injury. This is the same injury that kept him out of action for most of January. While he did defeat Grayson Waller at WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2023, Gargano was said to have been in a tremendous amount of pain and could only use one arm.

WWE officials are hopeful that the issue can be fixed through physical therapy and he won’t need surgery.

For those wondering if Gargano’s absence has anything to do with Vince McMahon’s return to power, that is not the case.
