A former WWE developmental talent has been arrested.
Kyle Rasmussen, who worked in FCW as Conrad Tanner, was arrested after a crazy incident this past Saturday.
According to a report from the Detroit News, Rasmussen was arrested after he allegedly tried to take over the wheel of a truck that he was a passenger in.
Rasmussen was a passenger in a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado around 2:21 AM. He grabbed the steering wheel and attempted to strangle the driver, a 31-year-old man. The driver of the truck was eventually able to pull over and fled the scene with another passenger (Rasmussen’s girlfriend).
Just moments later, Rasmussen’s girlfriend (Sarah Ratliff) was struck by a vehicle approximately 100 feet from where the parked truck was. She was later pronounced deceased at a local hospital.
The driver of the car who hit Ratliff fled the scene of the accident. The Sheriff’s Department crash investigators are still looking for that driver, who is believed to be driving a 2017-19 Audi Q7 SUV that has front-end damage. The Sheriff’s Department have announced a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the driver.
As far as Rasmussen is concerned, he was arrested and was indicted on Tuesday with one count of assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder, or by strangulation. He has since bonded out on $25,000. There is a probable cause hearing set for November 10th.
