More sources are confirming the reports that Sasha Banks has been released by WWE following her suspension last month.

In May, Banks and Naomi were suspended by WWE after walking out of Raw due to creative differences.

Raj Giri was the first to report that Banks has been released, with Sean Ross Sapp later reported as accurate.

Reddit user Kermit125 has become the next source to confirm Banks’ release, saying that it happened “some weeks ago.”

Kermit has proven to be accurate in the past with sources within WWE.

They were the first to break the news of Lita’s return earlier this year, and that the Steiner Brothers and Queen Sharmell would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Kermit was also the one to break the news that WrestleMania: Saturday would be headlined by Kevin Owens and Stone Cold Steve Austin on the KO Show, which would become a match.

There’s no word on when Banks will be able to work elsewhere but it’s expected she’s subject to at least a 90-day non-compete clause.
