Liv Morgan is amassing quite the filmography, but the former Women’s World Champion was nearly part of the upcoming Street Fighter movie.
Speaking on Duke Loves Wrestling, former Paradigm talent agent Nick Lopiccolo revealed that Morgan met with executives from Legendary Entertainment several times.
Lopiccolo shared his belief that, if not for an injury suffered by Morgan, she would have landed a role in the much-anticipated video game adaptation. He said,
“The sad thing is, and the unfortunate thing is, I don’t know that, again, I don’t necessarily want to bring this up and cause any hurt feelings, but if Liv Morgan didn’t tear her shoulder at the time that she tore her shoulder, I think the chances would be very, very high that she would have been in the movie as Cammy, and I don’t know that Cody would be in the movie at all.”
Later on, Lopiccolo added that Morgan’s injury prevented her from travelling to Australia to film the action scenes associated with the character of Cammy.
Instead of Morgan, Cammy will be played by Mel Jarnson (Mortal Kombat) in the film, which will feature Roman Reigns as Akuma and Cody Rhodes as Guile.
Cammy White, also known by the codename Killer Bee, debuted in Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers (1993), and has been in several games and projects since.
Kylie Minogue played Cammy in the live-action Street Fighter: The Movie (1994) and the character has appeared in multiple animated films.
While not in Street Fighter, Morgan’s film credits include the Chucky TV series, The Kill Room (2023), Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo (2026), and the upcoming Ping (2026).
