Enzo Amore was supposed to return to WWE with Big Cass. However, he has yet to return. Cass has been destroying stars on the main roster for weeks. Now, on the Wrestling Observer Radio, a new update has come out. It was reported,
“There was talk of Enzo in NXT. It was talked to me like it was pretty much a done deal, but they were gonna keep Enzo and Cass apart because of the idea that if they put them together, Cass’s upside is very limited in that tag team based on how WWE does tag teams. But now, with Cass in the spot that he’s in, being with Enzo may not be the worst thing in a tag team. So I suppose they could do that. Seems kind of weird. What does Cass need Enzo for when he’s beating these guys up all by himself anyway?”
The Former WWE Star On AEW
Enzo Amore recently got into hot water for what he said about AEW. He said,
“That’s funny, man. And I never heard anybody talk about that incident ever. I didn’t know it was out there. I’m not a dick. I’m just a really good guy but you take my kindness for weakness, I immediately throw hands. So I never spoke about this, and I never really will. Look, I had to fight for everything I got. I didn’t get where the f*ck I got being some pushover slump p*ssy b*tch. Never.
When sh*t hit the fan backstage, or when I had to go walk in a room and talk to Vince McMahon one-on-one, or I had to go talk to Hunter [Triple H] one-on-one, those conversations stayed there. And with the boys, the same bullsh*t. If I fought—if I fist-fought another guy in the locker room, you probably never heard of it ’cause I probably f*cking won, right?
I appreciate that. What happens in the WWE locker room as far as fistfights never left. F*ck AEW for all the p*ssy a** fighting that they do over there and letting it leak and sh*t. We are some badasses that you got to keep some credibility in that locker room.”
After the backlash, he clarified what he meant. He said,
“I talked to Maven in March of 2025. He waited to come off the heels of a beautiful tribute show for PAC to post the interview. I thought the tribute show was absolute class. Everyone who paid tribute, thank you for honoring Ben. I’m still grieving; Maven is clearly not.”
“Hey guys. We filmed this video with Enzo back in May 2025. Originally, we had him react to the infamous Simon Gotch interview in which Simon buried Enzo. However, after we finished filming, Enzo texted me and asked us to cut that part. Without that reaction, we decided not to release it. However, after I shared the story in another video, many of you asked us to release whatever we could. Since last Friday’s video was shorter, we figured, why not? Hope you guys enjoy.”
