During their early years, WWE’s LA Knight and AEW’s Jon Moxley stayed together. The two were on the indies and had some fun nights together. Speaking to Sporf’s James Sweetnam, he said,
“Look at you digging back. I have plenty of memories that I cannot even dare talk about. Yeah, there’s some memories there. But I tell you what, when we first were living together, it was a one-bedroom apartment, and I basically just made a little, like we made a bed out of one of the little futon couches. So he was out in the living room for a bit until we eventually got ourselves a two-bedroom. But we had a lot of fun nights that I can’t even begin to talk about. But it was a good time.”
LA Knight Names Logan Paul As His Greatest WWE Rival
Speaking about his WWE run he said,
“That’s a tough one. I don’t know. In a weird way, maybe you could say Solo Sikoa just because I feel like I’ve been tied to him for so long and now somehow we’re on the same page. But I think that one of the ones that had the most impact that people were looking for for a long time was Logan Paul because it was like, I kind of had that rub up with him three years ago at, what was it, going into Money in the Bank, and I said the whole thing about the map and this, that, whatever. That kind of, put us on the same trajectory in a certain way, even though we both went our own separate ways for the next nine, ten months. But everywhere I went, people were like, ‘you need to go after Logan Paul and get that US title, blah, blah, blah,’ and eventually, that’s where we got to.”
Knight also talked about Roman Reigns. He said,
“Man, I mean… You just said it right there, what I’ve always deserved. So at this point, you know what, we’ve been three years in the running for this whole thing, and it’s been three years since Roman and I went one on one. And hopefully we’ll see if things come out a little different this time. But if that moment happens to finally come to fruition now at this point, I’ll say it’s long overdue. We’ll see what happens. Look, he’s proven himself this year to be able to do things on his own. If he can keep that up, that’ll probably be his downfall.”
