Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has shared a tribute to Benjamin ‘Pac’ Satterley, following the English wrestler’s death earlier this month.
Satterley, who also wrestled as Neville in WWE, died on September 27, 2026, just one day after competing at the AEW All Out pay-per-view event.
In a video shared on social media, Johnson expressed his condolences to the Satterley family following Benjamin’s sudden passing.
He also spoke about the difficult emotions of losing someone within the wrestling ‘family,’ especially someone as talented as Satterley. He said,
“As global as professional wrestling is, as global as WWE is, as much as AEW is growing into this phenomenal wrestling company, and wherever you’re wrestling at around the world… we’re still a very tight-knit unit and a tight-knit group because we all share the same DNA.
“But when we lose one of our own, it hurts. And when they’re young and so insanely talented, it really f***ing hurts.”
Johnson, despite being a major name in WWE, made sure to mention those in AEW who had been working with Satterley until his death. He said,
“To my friend Tony Khan. I’m so sorry for your loss, my friend QT [Marshall] and to all the locker rooms, the men and women of AEW, I’m so sorry for your loss, and those, of course, my colleagues in WWE who knew him well I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry all around, and to the Satterley family, I wish you love and light.”
