New details have emerged regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of PAC, whose real name is Benjamin Satterley.
According to a report from the California Post, Satterley was found unconscious inside of a vehicle parked at a CAVA restaurant in Des Plaines, Illinois, before he was pronounced dead.
A 911 call came in around 4 PM, with emergency medical personnel dispatched to the Mediterranean restaurant after witnesses noticed that Satterley had apparently passed out inside his car.
In the audio obtained Monday, an official could be heard telling dispatchers the following,
“This is going to be a slumper in a car. We cannot confirm breathing yet. At this point, we’re still on the phone getting further [details/information].”
Authorities were initially unable to confirm whether Satterley was breathing. An official later confirmed that he was found deceased upon the arrival of emergency personnel.
A witness also told authorities that several customers at the restaurant had noticed Satterley had passed out in his vehicle. Those individuals reportedly searched inside the CAVA for medical equipment while waiting for emergency responders to arrive.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that Satterley was pronounced dead at 4:08 PM.
At this time, the cause of death remains unknown. Additional testing is pending following the initial autopsy.
The Daily Herald, citing the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, reported that there were no indications of trauma or foul play.
Satterley was found inside a rental vehicle on the 2700 block of Mannheim Road in Des Plaines after a passerby discovered him and called 911. The location is situated near Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. PAC was declared “Dead On Arrival” by paramedics.
