Nick Aldis has been a fixture of WWE programming for years, but now the SmackDown General Manager has been announced for a non-WWE event.
Aldis has been announced for The Big Event, a non-WWE affiliated sports expo that will be taking place in Brentwood, NY, this November.
Other wrestling guests announced include Ric Flair, Zelina ‘Xelina’ Vega, Braun Strowman and ‘Diamond’ Dallas Page.
Aldis joined WWE in 2023 as SmackDown’s General Manager. He is a former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion and TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
At WWE SummerSlam 2026, Aldis made his in-ring debut for WWE, losing to GUNTHER in the third match of the night.
