Bayley recently shared some time with her ‘best friend’ who wrestles for AEW, but it isn’t reigning AEW Women’s World Champion Mercedes Moné.
On Instagram, Bayley featured Kris Statlander in her Instagram Story, saying that the former Women’s World/TBS Champion is her bestie.
This post comes after Bayley seemingly teased joining AEW earlier this year during an absence from WWE TV that some believed would be permanent.
These teases came amid reports that Bayley had not re-signed her contract with WWE, which is expected to expire in early 2027.
Bayley has since returned to WWE programming, though it has not been publicly confirmed if she has signed a new contract with the promotion.
Bayley has been a part of WWE since 2012 and is a multi-time champion, Royal Rumble winner, Elimination Chamber winner and Money in the Bank winner.
