RAW Superstar Is The ‘Male Chelsea Green’ For Better And Worse, Says WWE Alum

One of WWE RAW’s most popular Superstars has been compared to Chelsea Green for their ability to fit right in with whatever is needed of them.

On a recent edition of his “Stevie Richards Show” podcast, Richards compared LA Knight to Green, arguing that both have versatility. He said,

“He’s a Chelsea Green. He found his level. He can pop up a little bit. He’s like an upper-mid, lower-main-event type guy, and you can interchange him.

“That sucks. I mean, it’s not the worst problem in the world. You could be Zack Ryder, who at one point should have been over, and they just kind of then, nope, thumb right there.”

As of late, LA Knight has been campaigning for a World Heavyweight Title shot, though Roman Reigns has been in no hurry to offer the opportunity.

According to Richards, WWE is right not to immediately thrust Knight into a title match after he recently emerged victorious in a six-man tag-team match. He said,

“I don’t know what you do with him, but you don’t put him right in a title match, and Roman was right. Dude, you won a six-man tag, and now you want a title match? People can look at that and go, ‘You’re right, that’s two totally different things.”

Knight is a two-time WWE U.S. Champion. He has challenged for World Titles in WWE before, but has yet to hold a World Championship in WWE.

Green is the reigning Women’s Champion, though an orbital bone injury has raised questions as to what the future holds for a title reign many feel was overdue.
