Dominik Mysterio is reportedly unhappy with how WWE has been using him on television lately, even though he currently holds one of the biggest titles in Lucha Libre AAA.
The AAA Mega Champion recently teamed up with Omos and Dorian Roldan, but his run on WWE TV since beating John Cena at Survivor Series 2026 has felt far less exciting, since he spent the last few months stuck in a silly storyline with Danhausen.
According to a report from False Finish, a source close to the situation shared that Dominik feels he deserves a more serious spot on WWE programming, especially given that he is the reigning AAA Mega Champion.
The source also mentioned that he wants WWE and AAA to stay consistent when it comes to portraying his character, instead of showing two very different versions of him across both promotions.
Adding to the comedy angle, Dominik actually lost to Danhausen in a ‘Human Monies On A Pole” match at SummerSlam 2026, which likely fueled his frustration even further. He is set to defend his AAA Mega Title against El Grande Americano at Triplemania 34 next month.
