Recently, Santana participated in matches in WWE NXT, competing against Tavion Heights and later issuing a challenge to Trick Williams for the TNA World Title on NXT television.

The report states that Santana has impressed WWE NXT higher-ups with his recent performances. Furthermore, WWE’s interest in the former AEW star is said to have grown following his recent match against Williams.

Santana’s contract with TNA Wrestling is set to expire later this year. Notably, WWE’s newfound interest might influence his wrestling career going forward.
