Dominik Mysterio Eyes WWE Grand Slam Status, Tommy Dreamer Praises Trick Williams

During a recent “Intoxicados” podcast appearance, WWE Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio shared his thoughts on potentially transitioning to Hollywood and his goal of becoming a WWE Grand Slam Champion.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On a possible transition to Hollywood: “I don’t know. I’m definitely taking it one day at a time. Right now, I want to continue being the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all-time. I want to see what else this brings. This is only one stop of many.”

On wanting to become a Grand Slam Champion: “There are a couple more titles out there. Hell, I’d love to become a Grand Slam Champion in WWE. That’s another goal of mine. For right now, Hollywood, I’m sure one day, but as of right now, I’m definitely focused on putting the Mysterio name and Guerrero name on my back.”

During a recent appearance on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Tommy Dreamer commended Trick Williams for his promo from Tuesday’s episode of NXT.

Williams defeated Joe Hendry to win the TNA World Championship at NXT: Battleground 2025. Dreamer said,

I love Trick, I love Trick’s work, I’ve been a fan since day 1. I’ve loved his ascent to the top of the business. I think that the TNA World title being around Trick helps Trick, helps TNA, helps NXT. His promo was phenomenal. Literally telling the fans, ‘Do not chant for me. I remember you. You’re the ones who were making fun for me…If it’s not Santana, it’s Joe Hendry. If it’s not Joe Hendry, then who? We’re not talking about a guy that’s easy to beat. So many different moving parts to everything Trick, you know, honestly … I go from the lowest of lows to the highest of highs.”
