Rey Fenix has officially signed with WWE.

Fightful Select is reporting that Fenix completed his medicals recently, and while the news isn’t a huge surprise after a teaser aired on SmackDown hinting at a new luchador’s arrival, it had not been previously confirmed that he had signed.

Fenix is expected to debut on SmackDown, though the exact timing is unknown. The report also mentions that, like his brother PENTA, Fenix is not expected to discuss his departure from AEW.
