Ronda Rousey has said that her SmackDown Women’s Championship opportunity against Charlotte Flair will be the headliner for WrestleMania: Saturday on April 2.

It had been reported that WWE originally planned on having ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s confrontation with Kevin Owens headline the event, marking the first time that WrestleMania would not end with a match.

It was later reported that the SmackDown Women’s title match was the new main event before an update said that WWE was back on board with Austin and Owens.

On her Facebook Gaming stream, Rousey once again revealed that plans have changed. She said:

“I’m going to be in the main event for the second time. I was part of the first main event with women, this is the third. It’s becoming almost something that doesn’t even need to be mentioned anymore, which is the goal.”

WWE WrestleMania 38 will take place from April 2-3 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
